Olive Garden Studio, located in Cascais, Portugal, is a small retreat designed for a private client seeking a flexible space where work, leisure, and play could coexist in harmony with nature. The project occupies a modest footprint of approximately 25 m² within the client’s garden. The design revolves around two existing trees — a mature olive tree and a tall pine — which shape the architecture and organise the different spaces. Rather than imposing itself on the site, the structure weaves around the trees, creating a dialogue between built form and landscape.
